Rolled up Newspaper
For a while I have wanted to have a bit n’ bob of the month. They can be made from found objects or from something purchased.
Take about five or six pages of a newspaper. Roll it diagonally. Tape it up. You have a sword, a twirling baton, a telescope, a wand or an Akkah! These are the suggestions that the kids in my household came up with.
The roll can be decorated with stickers, crayons, glitter or paint…however much you are up for.
I have had a least a couple of kids make up stories on the spot, based on these bits n’ bobs.
